布里斯班机场2025年预计迎接创纪录的2500万乘客[1]。为适应增长需求,机场计划在未来五年投资50亿澳元进行Future BNE扩展计划[1]。
Brisbane Airport has announced a major expansion of Malaysia Airlines services on the Kuala Lumpur route, with the carrier increasing frequency from six weekly flights to daily service from October 25 onwards [1]. The enhanced connection will be operated using the Airbus A330neo aircraft [1].
Beyond international expansion, the airport is advancing a A$217 million air ambulance hub project expected to open next year, positioning it as Australia's largest dedicated aeromedical facility [1]. The hub will co-locate the Royal Flying Doctor Service, LifeFlight, Queensland Rescue and Recovery Operations Centre, and Queensland Police Aviation Capability, consolidating critical emergency medical and rescue operations [1]. During 2024–2025, the Royal Flying Doctor Service transported 7,207 patients, while LifeFlight assisted over 1,000 people [1]. The airport recorded a record 25 million passengers in 2025 and is investing A$5 billion in its Future BNE expansion programme over the next five years [1].
