四川成都警方近日破获一起利用电商平台"以旧换新"活动漏洞进行诈骗的案件。[1]犯罪嫌疑人张某系该电商平台前员工，通过快速切换订单中旧设备选项的方式实现零元购，累计下单3711次，非法获取电器3000余台。[1]
警方在张某家中和其租用的仓库内共查获涉案物品1000余件，其中包括全新家电977件、已拆封家电22件以及家中未拆封家电166件。[1]搜查清点工作耗时8小时才完成。[1]案件中，张某、余某、李某三人因涉嫌盗窃罪已被采取刑事强制措施。[1]目前，涉事电商平台已修复相关系统漏洞。[1]
Police in Chengdu, Sichuan Province have solved a fraud case involving the exploitation of an e-commerce platform's trade-in promotion vulnerability.[1] The suspect, Zhang, a former employee of the platform, orchestrated a scheme to obtain thousands of electrical appliances at zero cost by rapidly switching order details during transactions.[1] Zhang placed 3,711 orders through this method, acquiring over 3,000 electrical appliances.[1]
During the investigation, authorities discovered the scope of the operation when they conducted searches at Zhang's residence and a rented warehouse facility.[1] Officers recovered more than 1,000 items connected to the case, including 977 brand-new appliances still in original packaging, 22 opened units, and 166 unopened appliances at the residence.[1] The inventory process alone consumed 8 hours for police to complete.[1] Three individuals—Zhang, Yu, and Li—have been subjected to criminal compulsory measures on suspicion of theft.[1] The case was reported on May 30, 2024, and following the incident, the e-commerce platform has patched the system vulnerability that enabled the scheme.[1]
