Ahead of the Mid-Autumn Festival, China's State Administration for Market Regulation organized a special supervision and random sampling inspection of mooncakes across the country 1. The inspection covered all 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, with 300 batches randomly sampled involving 118 brands and 216 mooncake producers 1.
