Chinese autonomous vehicle company Pony.ai and Uber have announced an expansion of their strategic partnership to deploy more than 2,000 Level 4 autonomous driving taxis across five European cities [1]. The collaboration will initially launch in Zagreb, Croatia's capital, where Uber users will soon be able to request Pony.ai Robotaxis through the mobile app, with the identities of the other four European cities to be revealed at a later date [1].
