In Changsha, Hunan, an individual identified as Huang sold 4,272 dry powder fire extinguishers with powder content below mandated standards, with the case value reaching 149,900 yuan and resulting in penalties and confiscation totaling 166,300 yuan.1 A company in Longchang, Sichuan—Miaosi Commercial Trade Limited—fraudulently marketed synthetic cotton bedding as genuine Xinjiang pure cotton products from October 2021 onwards, involving goods valued at 408,800 yuan and facing penalties of 562,900 yuan.1 In Changshu, Jiangsu, Sanxin Thermal Insulation Materials Factory produced extruded polystyrene boards with thermal conductivity and fire resistance properties failing to meet national standards, with goods valued at 72,400 yuan and a penalty of 100,000 yuan.1
Further enforcement extended to Wuhu, Anhui, where Shanghai Shengbaolong Lubricating Oil Limited Company—through a contracted manufacturer—produced 19 batches of lubricating oil all failing to comply with national standards, involving goods valued at 70,600 yuan with penalties and confiscation totaling 79,800 yuan.1 In Jieyang, Guangdong, Kalinya Electric Appliances Limited Company manufactured 1,500 defective electric mosquito swatters, incurring a penalty of 37,900 yuan.1 Market regulatory departments across these jurisdictions conducted thorough investigations and evidence collection to support the enforcement actions.1
