8月22日，第二十一届宋庆龄少年儿童发明奖颁奖活动在北京举办1。深圳参赛队伍在本届比赛中表现突出，共斩获金奖1项、银奖7项、铜奖10项，总计18枚奖牌1。本届发明奖共有6万余名青少年参赛，5.4万余件作品参评1。
其中，深圳明德实验学校学生王嘉人、牛璟颐团队的作品《AI黑脸琵鹭机器鸟"琵琵"》荣获小学组人工智能（编程）类银奖1。据介绍，该小队持续3年关注研究黑脸琵鹭，研发历程从科普桌游发展到AI机器鸟1。本次发明奖由中国宋庆龄基金会、中国科学技术协会主办1。

According to Wang Jiaren's statement, the team had sustained their focus on researching black-faced spoonbills for three consecutive years, progressing from an educational board game to the AI robotic bird 1.
The competition, organized by the China Song Qingling Foundation and the China Association for Science and Technology, drew participation from more than 60,000 young contestants with over 54,000 submissions evaluated 1.
