Dr. Chia Liang Saw, a 41-year-old paediatrician in Perth, now faces a total of 72 child sex abuse charges involving 18 victims.[1][2] The doctor was initially arrested in May 2024 and charged with engaging in sustained sexual conduct with children and possessing child exploitation material.[2] Following his initial arrest, an additional 15 charges have been laid, comprising six counts of indecent dealing with a child under 13, three counts of recording indecent material involving a child under 13, and three counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13.[1][2]
