García has emerged as a productive contributor for the team, posting a career-high batting average of .283 with 23 home runs and 78 runs batted in.[1] His slugging percentage of .560 ranks third in the league, trailing only Yankees teammate Ben Rice and Houston's Yordan Alvarez.[1] In his debut with the team, García delivered a crucial two-run home run, and he currently maintains the highest batting average on the Yankees roster.[1] When batters reach base ahead of him, García's average improves to .330.[1] Ramos, acquired to provide additional outfield depth, has appeared in 74 games with a .264 batting average, 9 home runs, and 34 runs batted in, while posting an on-base plus slugging percentage of .835 against left-handed pitchers.[1] His contract keeps him under team control through 2030.[1]
The Yankees have compiled a 27-27 record since May 31, while Aaron Judge awaits diagnostic scans to determine when he can resume baseball activities.[1]
