Shenzhen Pingshan Chinese Medicine Hospital has launched the third cohort of a volunteer interpreter training program for its Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture and Life Sciences Exhibition Hall 1. The initiative brings together 22 teenagers aged 11 to 18 from schools across Pingshan District 1.
The three-day training program employs an integrated approach combining theory, practical instruction, and interactive learning 1. Participants receive instruction in traditional Chinese medicine culture, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillator (AED) use, herbal plant identification, and medicinal sachet crafting 1. Upon completing the training and passing assessments, students who fulfill at least three volunteer interpretation sessions will receive formal appointment as hall interpreters 1.
This program forms part of a broader series of activities organized by the hospital in alignment with the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine's 2026 Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Service Month initiative 1.
