Hongmeng Zhixing's Shangjie brand has completed Ministry of Industry and Information Technology registration for its new pure electric SUV model, the Shangjie Z9, designated as a 2027 model year vehicle slated for launch between April and May 2025.1 The sport-oriented SUV measures 5,139mm in length, 2,005mm in width, and 1,776mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,086mm, positioning it between Hongmeng Zhixing's 6-7 series and 8-9 series offerings.1
The Shangjie Z9 features two powertrain options: a single-motor version with 102.5 kW rated power and 280 kW peak power achieving a top speed of 200 km/h, and a dual-motor variant with combined system output of 455 kW and a maximum speed of 210 km/h.1 The single-motor version seats five passengers, while the dual-motor configuration can be arranged in either five or six-seat layouts.1 Battery supply will be provided by Jiangsu Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and SAIC Times Power System (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.1
