香港支聯會顛覆案判刑 三名領導人獲刑五至七年

香港西九龍法院根據國家安全法對香港支聯會顛覆案作出判決。1前主席李卓人被判監禁7年、前副主席鄒幸彤被判監禁7年3個月、何俊仁被判監禁5年2個月。1已解散的支聯會組織本身被罰港幣150萬元。1三人被控在2020年7月1日至2021年9月8日期間煽動他人以非法手段顛覆國家政權。1法庭將該案界定為「情節嚴重」。1

台灣陸委會對此表達遺憾與譴責，批評有關方面以國安為由進行政治審判。1陸委會指出追求民主人權無罪，並呼籲中共與港府立即釋放所有因行使基本權利遭無理羈押與判刑的民主人士。1多個台灣民間團體包括司改會、國際特赦組織台灣分會、香港邊城青年、華人民主書院、台灣人權促進會等也在立法院召開記者會聲援三人，訴求釋放他們並廢除香港國安法。4

六四民運領袖王丹發表聲明表示敬意，認為該判決反映政權對歷史記憶的懼怕。2王丹稱「天，是一定會亮的」。2國際特赦組織副地區主任莎拉·布鲁克斯指判決為「三重悲劇」。3

A Hong Kong court has handed down prison sentences to three former leaders of the Hong Kong Alliance in Support of Patriotic Democratic Movements of China on charges of sedition under the National Security Law.14 Former chairman Lee Cheuk-yan received 7 years imprisonment, former vice-chair Chow Hang-tung was sentenced to 7 years and 3 months, and Ho Chun-yan to 5 years and 2 months.134 The charges covered the period from July 1, 2020 to September 8, 2021, with the defendants accused of inciting others to unlawfully subvert state power.1 The dissolved organization itself was fined 1.5 million Hong Kong dollars, equivalent to approximately 6 million New Taiwan dollars.14

The Taiwan Mainland Affairs Council expressed regret and condemnation over the verdict, criticizing the authorities for conducting what it characterized as political trials under the guise of national security.1 The council called on the Chinese Communist Party and Hong Kong government to immediately release all democratic activists detained and sentenced for exercising basic rights.1 Multiple Taiwanese civil organizations, including the Judicial Reform Foundation, Amnesty International Taiwan, and the Taiwan Human Rights Promotion Association, held a press conference at the Legislative Yuan to voice support for the three defendants and demand the repeal of Hong Kong's National Security Law.4

Exiled pro-democracy figure Wang Dan issued a statement honoring the three sentenced leaders, characterizing the judgment as reflecting the government's fear of historical memory and asserting that Hong Kong people's commitment to remembering and pursuing democracy would leave an honorable mark on history.2 International human rights organizations also criticized the sentence. Amnesty International's deputy regional director Sarah Brooks called it a "triple tragedy" affecting not only the convicted activists but also survivors and victims of the Tiananmen Square massacre and a generation of Hong Kong residents denied the opportunity to discuss modern China's most significant historical event.35
