Icelandic singer Laufey has announced the fourth edition of her annual fan gathering "A Very Laufey Day," scheduled for August 23, 2026, marking a significant expansion of the initiative she launched in 2023.[1] The event will take place across 75 cities in 25 countries, centered on the theme "A Celebration of the Arts."[1]
The fan event was originally conceived as a "third space" designed to bring audiences offline and into communal cultural experiences away from their homes.[1] For 2026, Laufey has partnered with major cultural institutions including the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Tate Modern in London, and the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art in Seoul.[1] The programming will encompass symphony orchestras, ballet, jazz, opera, and theater productions, alongside collaborations with museums, bookstores, and cafes.[1] According to Laufey, the initiative aims to break down barriers for Generation Z and Generation Alpha audiences seeking to access classical cultural spaces.[1]
