中国工程院院士管华诗在山东青岛逝世

中国工程院院士、中国海洋大学原校长管华诗因病医治无效，于2026年9月4日在山东青岛逝世，享年87岁1。管华诗1939年8月出生，1995年当选中国工程院院士1。

管华诗是中国现代海洋药物学科的开拓者与奠基人1。他研制出中国第一个现代海洋药物藻酸双酯钠，建立了中国第一个海洋特征糖库1。管华诗在1993年7月至2005年6月期间担任中国海洋大学校长，倡议实施"蓝色药库"科技战略，发起筹建青岛海洋科学与技术国家实验室1。

Guan Huashi, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and former president of Ocean University of China, passed away on September 4, 2026, at 11:18 a.m. in Qingdao, Shandong Province, after a prolonged illness 1. He was 87 years old 1.

Born in August 1939 1, Guan was elected to the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1995 1. He served as president of Ocean University of China from July 1993 to June 2005 1. Guan is recognized as a pioneer and founder of China's modern marine pharmaceuticals discipline 1. Among his major achievements, he spearheaded the development of sodium alginate polysulfate (PSS), China's first modern marine drug 1, and established China's first marine-characteristic sugar library 1. He also championed the implementation of the "Blue Medicine Chest" scientific and technological strategy and initiated the establishment of the Qingdao National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology 1.
