Yue opera performer Chen Lijun has been named Best Newcomer at the 38th Hundred Flowers Award for her role as Ayuya in the film The Bowman: Desert Rising [1]. Born on May 9, 1992, Chen Lijun trained in the Yin school style and specializes in the young male warrior role, known as xiaosheng [1]. Following her Hundred Flowers victory, Chen Lijun reaffirmed her commitment to Yue opera, stating: "Yue opera will always be my main battlefield, and I will not leave this stage" [1].
