Hungarian prosecutors conducted a raid Tuesday on the data center of Fidesz—Hungarian Civic Alliance, the party led by former Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, as part of an investigation into alleged embezzlement of state cultural funds. [1]
Six current and former officials face charges of misappropriating approximately 17 billion forints (53.5 million dollars) through the national cultural fund, though they have denied any wrongdoing.
