红岭中学组织学生参与中英青少年人文交流项目，赴英国肯特郡The Holmesdale School进行为期五日的插班体验学习[1]。梅香学校开设《国际理解——双语小记者》课程，立足2026 APEC（深圳）主题，学生通过参与粤港澳大湾区双语小记者采写行动和文博会采编工作获得实战经验[1]。多名梅香学校学生获得Walking Global Clas组委会等级考核认证和"大湾区双语小记者"官方身份证书[1]。
荔园外国语小学邀请外籍学子家长分享各国民俗风情，开展"探秘民俗风情 童声礼赞中华"国潮活动，让学生了解多元文化的同时传承中华文化[1]。
With the APEC conference set to be held in Shenzhen, schools across Futian District are intensifying efforts to cultivate globally-minded students capable of engaging with the world.[1] The district's educational institutions are deploying diverse initiatives—including overseas immersion programs, bilingual curricula, and international cultural exchanges—to equip young people with cross-cultural competencies and a broader worldview.
Red Ling Middle School has organized students to participate in a China-UK youth cultural exchange project, with participants undertaking a five-day immersion experience at The Holmesdale School in Kent.[1] Meanwhile, Meihuang School has developed an "International Understanding—Bilingual Young Reporters" course centered on the 2026 APEC conference theme in Shenzhen.[1] Through this program, students gain practical experience by reporting on activities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and contributing to cultural expo coverage.[1] Several Meihuang School students have earned certification from the Walking Global Class organizing committee and been granted official status as "Greater Bay Area Bilingual Young Reporters."[1]
Liyuan Foreign Language Primary School has adopted a different approach, inviting parents from international families to share customs and folklore from their home countries while organizing cultural activities themed "Exploring Ethnic Traditions, Celebrating Chinese Heritage Through Children's Voices."[1] These coordinated efforts across multiple schools demonstrate Futian's commitment to fostering the next generation's ability to understand both their own cultural roots and the wider world.
