Shallow drilling at Amy Clarke has returned encouraging results, with the best interval returning 8 meters grading 6.7 grams per tonne gold at 33 meters depth, including a 4-meter section grading 12.5 grams per tonne [1]. Concurrently, Great Southern Mining is advancing exploration partnerships with global mining major Gold Fields, which has the option to invest up to A$15 million to earn a 75 percent interest in the Edinburgh Park project in north Queensland [1]. The company has completed 3,089 meters of drilling at the Mon Ami project and 4,726 meters at the Golden Boulder project, with assay results pending for both [1]. At Golden Boulder, drilling has defined a 1.1-kilometer mineralized body with a potential strike length of 3.5 kilometers, and the company plans to conduct 68 additional holes [1].
