Patriot Resources' Peruvian subsidiary has reached a critical community use agreement with the Pachamayo Community, gaining access to conduct geological mapping and surface sampling across 226 hectares in the northern section of the Tassa silver-gold project.[1] The accord represents a key milestone for advancing exploration at the emerging operation, which is located in southern Peru.
The Tassa project has recently undergone a significant expansion, growing by 50 percent to encompass 1,800 hectares of exploration ground.[1] The project targets between 559 million and 774 million ounces of silver equivalent, complementing existing mineral resources of 31.4 million ounces of silver equivalent.[1] The mineralization strike length has been extended from 2.9 kilometers to 3.1 kilometers.[1] Patriot Resources CEO Dominic Duggan stated: "Reaching this agreement with the Pachamayo Community is an important step for Tassa."[1] An initial three-month work program is set to commence shortly.[1]
