著名歌剧表演艺术家、"人民艺术家"国家荣誉称号获得者郭兰英因病于2026年8月11日在广州逝世，享年97岁。[1]
郭兰英生于1930年的贫苦农民家庭，1947年在石家庄首次登台饰演喜儿一角，即获得极大成功。[1]她在《白毛女》《小二黑结婚》等经典歌剧中创造了深入人心的艺术形象，演唱的《我的祖国》《南泥湾》等歌曲广为流传。[1]其中，《我的祖国》是她为1956年上映的电影《上甘岭》演唱的插曲。[1]1964年，她参加了《东方红》电影的拍摄工作。[1]
郭兰英为中国民族歌剧表演体系的建立和民族演唱艺术的发展作出了开拓性贡献。[1]1982年，她正式告别舞台。[1]1986年，郭兰英在广东番禺开办艺术学校，培养新一代艺术人才。[1]1994年10月，她将自己的演唱版权无偿捐献给国家。[1]郭兰英曾任第一、二、三、五、六届全国人民代表大会代表。[1]

Born into a poor peasant family in 1930, Guo became a pioneering force in Chinese national opera performance and vocal art.[1] Her breakthrough came in 1947 when she made her debut in Shijiazhuang, successfully performing the role of Xi'er in "The White-Haired Girl," which would become a classic work.[1] Over her career, she created iconic operatic roles in productions such as "The White-Haired Girl" and "Little Erh Gets Married," while her recordings of songs including "My Motherland" and "South Mud Bay" became beloved nationwide.[1] In 1956, she performed the theme song for the film "The Battle of Shangganling."[1]
Guo's contributions extended beyond performance. She participated in the filming of the epic production "The East Is Red" in 1964.[1] After formally leaving the stage in 1982, she founded an arts academy in Panyu, Guangdong in 1986.[1] In October 1994, she donated her recording rights to the nation without compensation.[1] Throughout her life, she served as a delegate to the First, Second, Third, Fifth, and Sixth National People's Congresses.[1]
