Shenzhen North Station has introduced its first high-speed sleeper train service connecting to Xiangfeng Station in Hubei province, beginning August 11, 2024.[1] The new route operates on an evening departure and morning arrival schedule, linking the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area with the Xiangxi and western Hubei regions.[1]
Train D9792 departs Shenzhen North Station at 19:34 and arrives at Xiangfeng Station the following morning at 8:18, while the return service D9791 leaves Xiangfeng at 18:00 and reaches Shenzhen North at 8:15 the next day.[1] D9792 operates on August 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, and 26, with D9791 scheduled for August 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27.[1] The route passes through major stations including Humen, Guangzhou South, Hengyang East, Fenghuang Ancient Town, Jishou East, Furong Town, Zhangjiajie West, and Longshan North.[1]
