British fashion designer John Galliano has cancelled a major retrospective exhibition titled "John Galliano: Horizons" that was scheduled to open at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in May 2027.1 The decision came after widespread criticism and protests concerning Galliano's 2011 conviction for antisemitic remarks made at a Paris restaurant directed at a Jewish curator.1
