学生优惠票适用于多种座席类型，包括普通旅客列车的硬座、硬卧，以及动车组列车的二等座、二等包座、多功能座、一等座和动车组卧铺各席别。[1]
China's Railway 12306 mobile application has introduced a new pre-booking function for incoming students.[1] Starting from August 1 through August 30, 2026, freshmen of the Class of 2026 can reserve tickets for travel dates between August 17 and September 14.[1] After completing student credential verification, applicants can access the reservation service portal to submit their requests.[1]
Each reservation allows students to book tickets for up to three passengers, including themselves.[1] The system will confirm reservations between midnight and 7 a.m. on the 16th day before departure, and payment must be completed by 11 p.m. on the same day.[1] Student discount fares apply to regular train hard seats and berths, as well as high-speed train second-class seats, second-class compartments, multi-functional seats, first-class seats, and high-speed train sleeper berths of all types.[1]
