8月8日晚，内蒙古自治区第十六届运动会在包头举行开幕式，火炬传递在21时26分启动[1]。郝振生、王楠、郑贵有、李倩、冯超五位火炬手接力传递火种，全程4分30秒[1]。其中，李倩曾在2024年巴黎奥运会斩获金牌，实现了内蒙古运动员境外奥运金牌零的历史性突破[1]。
压轴环节由FITE国际旅游联合会马术教练员冯超完成[1]。他骑马使用弓箭点燃了主火炬台[1]。这一独特的点火仪式将草原民俗特色与现代体育仪式相融合，为本届运动会的开幕增添了亮点[1]。
The opening ceremony of the 16th Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Sports Games took place in Baotou on the evening of August 8th, featuring an elaborate torch relay that lasted precisely 4 minutes and 30 seconds.[1] Five torchbearers—Hao Zhensheng, Wang Nan, Zheng Guiyou, Li Qian, and Feng Chao—passed the flame in sequence, with the relay beginning at 9:26 p.m.[1]
The spectacular finale showcased a distinctive blend of grassland tradition and modern Olympic ceremony when Feng Chao, a certified equestrian coach with the International Federation of Tourism and a technical official for the China Equestrian Association,[1] mounted a horse and used a bow and arrow to precisely ignite the main cauldron.[1] Among the relay participants, Li Qian held particular significance as the torch bearer who won gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics, marking a historic breakthrough for Inner Mongolia athletes in securing an overseas Olympic medal.[1]
