The collision was averted, but not without consequences. One Jetstar flight attendant sustained injuries as a result of the emergency maneuver, and the nose gear of the Qatar Airways aircraft along with its towing vehicle sustained damage.[1] A Jetstar spokesperson stated: "Our aircraft was following air traffic control instructions, and the pilots were forced to perform emergency braking when the other aircraft approached."[1]
