One Nation has won its first-ever parliamentary seat in Western Australia, with candidate Luke Hedgecock defeating the Labor incumbent in the Secret Harbour by-election.1 Hedgecock secured 39.1 percent of first preferences and won by approximately 3,682 votes against his Labor opponent Georgia Terry.1 The Liberal Party candidate Ryan Robertson finished third with 17 percent of first preferences, while the Liberals experienced a vote swing loss of 7.7 percent.1
