The project has a storied production history, having yielded 1.75 million ounces of gold at an average grade of 28 grams per tonne 1. Kaiser Reef is combining the underground drilling program with ongoing surface drilling totaling 4,350 meters, with plans to prioritize exploration of the Linscott's, Eaglehawk, and Ladies reef systems 1.
The company operates a licensed processing facility with a capacity of 200,000 tonnes annually and maintains complete infrastructure on site 1. The Union Hill deposit currently holds identified mineral resources of 1.31 million tonnes grading 4.44 grams per tonne, containing 187,000 ounces of gold, alongside 570,000 tonnes of surface stockpile material grading 0.48 grams per tonne with 8,600 ounces 1. Chief Executive Brad Valiukas described Maldon as representing "a district-scale gold opportunity for Kaiser" 1. The company doubled processing capacity to double-shift operations in May and has set production guidance of 32,000 ounces of gold for the 2027 financial year 1.
