Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Pakistan have signed the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement on Friday in the holy city of Mecca, establishing a mutual defense commitment among the three regional powers.[1] The pact stipulates that an armed attack against any one of the three nations shall be considered an attack against all three, designed to strengthen collective deterrence in response to deteriorating regional security conditions.[1]
