The typhoon will bring winds of force 12 to 14, with gusts reaching force 15 to 17 in the nearby sea areas and land regions it passes 1. Additionally, between 8:00 a.m. on August 28 and 8:00 a.m. on August 29, parts of southeastern Zhejiang and central-northern Fujian are expected to experience heavy to torrential rain, with localized areas receiving extremely heavy rainfall of 250 to 280 millimeters 1.
