The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) announced on Thursday that it is assuming leadership of the investigation into a Ryanair flight incident where a passenger was partially sucked out through a broken window, with Greek authorities cooperating in the probe. 1
The incident occurred on July 10 aboard a Boeing 737-800 aircraft operated by Air Malta, which was flying over Greek airspace when cabin depressurization occurred. 1 The flight was traveling from Thessaloniki, Greece to an area near Meinigen, Germany. 1
