基于嫦娥五号样品分析,中国科研团队将月球火山活动的终点从约30亿年前刷新至20亿年前[1],并相应修订了月球地质年代表,其中艾肯纪为43.3亿年、酒海纪为41.7亿年、雨海纪为39.2亿年[1]。这是全球月球地质年代表中首次出现由中国自主月球样品测年数据锚定的年龄界线[1]。
在月球探测计划方面,嫦娥七号计划于2026年前后发射,用以寻找水冰证据[1];嫦娥八号计划于2028年前后发射,进行资源原位利用验证[1]。中国目标是在2030年前实现首次人类登陆月球[1]。
Chinese researchers have successfully compiled a 1:5 million scale lunar geological map that marks a significant advancement in lunar science.[1] The comprehensive chart measures 280 centimeters in length and 120 centimeters in height, accompanied by specialized geological maps of the lunar south and north poles.[1] The map documents 13,519 impact craters, 81 impact basins, 14 types of geological structures, and 17 varieties of rock types across the lunar surface.[1]
The geological map has been developed using China's independently established standards and color system, earning certification through the China Geological Society group standard with the designation T/GSC 011-2025.[1] At a scale of 1:5 million—where each millimeter represents 5 kilometers on the actual lunar surface—this represents the first time a global lunar geological timescale has featured age boundaries anchored by China's autonomous lunar sample dating data.[1] A critical scientific finding involved revising the endpoint of lunar volcanic activity from approximately 3 billion years ago to 2 billion years ago, based on samples obtained from the Chang'e-5 mission.[1] The revised lunar geological timescale now places the Aitkenian period at 4.33 billion years ago, the Joean period at 4.17 billion years ago, and the Imbrian period at 3.92 billion years ago.[1]
Looking forward, China's lunar exploration program continues to advance with planned missions.[1] Chang'e-7 is scheduled for launch around 2026 to search for evidence of water ice, while Chang'e-8 is targeted for launch around 2028 to conduct resource utilization verification.[1] China aims to achieve its first crewed lunar landing before 2030.[1]
