A 47-year-old woman has been charged with stabbing four men in the back with scissors in central London.[1] Stella Gollovena, who has no fixed address, allegedly carried out the attack on Endell Street in Covent Garden at approximately 12:25 p.m. on Wednesday.[1] The four victims—Patrick De Barr, 34; Thomas Harding, 39; Adrian Lovett, 42; and Mantas Jankus, 56—were treated in hospital but have since been discharged.[1] Their injuries are not life-threatening and have not resulted in lasting changes to their lives.[1]
Gollovena faces four counts of grievous bodily harm and one count of possessing a controlled knife.[1] She was subdued with a Taser following her apprehension at the scene, and a rescue helicopter landed at Trafalgar Square during the incident response.[1] The case will return to Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 3 for the next hearing.[1]
