中国老年学和老年医学学会抗衰老分会原主任委员何琪杨指出，全球范围内尚未出现高质量、大样本、多中心的双盲临床试验报道证明补充NAD+可延缓衰老 1。资深医药律师李彦表示，非医疗机构无证开展静脉输液属于非法行医行为，私自采购科研试剂配制并用于临床注射涉嫌构成生产、销售、使用假药罪 1。

According to the National Medical Products Administration, the only legally approved indications for NAD+ injections in China are the auxiliary treatment of leukopenia, coronary heart disease, and myocarditis, with a legal single safe dose of 5 milligrams administered via intramuscular injection 1. Furthermore, China has never approved any NAD+ intravenous injection for "anti-aging" indications 1. However, some private medical institutions are using this prescription drug beyond its approved indications, administering single intravenous doses that exceed the safe dosage stated in the instructions by 30 to 50 times 1. In contrast, the Gerontology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association released the "Chinese Expert Consensus on the Role and Clinical Application of NAD+ in Aging-Related Diseases (2026 Edition)" in April 2026, recommending an intravenous administration regimen of 50 milligrams per day for injectable NAD+ 1. Currently, the only approved NAD+ injection in China is a product named "Enaidi," produced by Kaifeng Kangnuo Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which is the only approved injection with NAD+ as its main active ingredient 1.
The investigation also revealed that some beauty institutions use "imported" injections without Chinese labels, the raw materials of which are actually "research-grade reagents" sold by chemical enterprises and explicitly marked "strictly prohibited for human use" 1. These institutions mix and label the substances themselves in non-sterile environments 1. On chemical raw material trading websites, NAD+ raw powder is priced between 20 and 80 yuan per gram, with bulk purchases of one kilogram costing 1,500 yuan in total, equivalent to just 1.5 yuan per gram 1.
Addressing the efficacy and legality of these practices, He Qiyang, former director of the Anti-Aging Branch of the Chinese Society on Gerontology and Geriatrics, pointed out that there are no high-quality, large-sample, multi-center double-blind clinical trial reports globally proving that NAD+ supplementation can delay aging 1. Meanwhile, senior medical lawyer Li Yan stated that non-medical institutions conducting intravenous infusions without a license constitute illegal medical practice, and privately purchasing research reagents to prepare and use for clinical injections is suspected of constituting the crime of producing, selling, and using fake drugs 1.
