ASX-listed gold producer Kaiser Reef has entered into a non-binding ore purchase agreement with fellow ASX-listed explorer Flynn Gold to process ore or concentrate at its Henty gold mine processing facility in Tasmania.[1] The arrangement provides Kaiser with a low-capital expenditure income stream while offering Flynn an expedited pathway to production.[1]
Kaiser's Henty processing facility has an annual throughput capacity of 300,000 tonnes.[1] The mine holds confirmed gold reserves of 199,000 ounces,[1] and delivered 5,563 ounces of gold in the second quarter, representing an 8.4 percent increase year-on-year.[1] The company has guided full-year production of 32,000 ounces from its Henty and Maldon operations combined.[1] As of the end of June, Kaiser maintained cash and bullion holdings of A$37.2 million.[1] Maldon contributed 437 ounces during the same quarter, up 26 percent compared to the prior year.[1]
