The 2026 National Middle School Cheerleading Championship recently concluded, gathering 33 strong teams and 527 athletes from across the country 1. The Zhudao Cheerleading Team from the High School Division of Hongling Middle School (Hongling Education Group) in Futian District, Shenzhen, delivered an outstanding performance by securing three championships, four runner-up titles, and one fourth-place finish 1. The team ranked fourth in the overall team score nationwide and swept the championships and runner-up titles in all the technical cheerleading events they entered, achieving a Grand Slam across competitions at all levels 1.
In addition to their competitive success, the team was invited to perform at the opening ceremony, where they were honored with both the Best Performance Award and the Sports Morality and Style Award 1. Individual accolades were also awarded to the team's staff, with head coach Lin Li named Outstanding Coach and Jin Zhuzhu recognized as an Outstanding Referee 1. This recent triumph continues a long-standing tradition of excellence for the program, as the Hongling cheerleading team has won championships in national cheerleading events for more than ten consecutive years 1.
