深圳市盐田区沙头角街道东和社区党群服务中心的小志愿者在APEC盛会期间用英文介绍了社区党群服务工作[1]。该中心以党建为引领，围绕"一老一小"开展了丰富多样的惠民服务，其中老年文艺展演、健康科普等各类活动已累计开展80余场[1]，青少年及亲子家庭主题活动约120场[1]。
少儿启蒙英语课程是社区特色服务之一，已累计开展106场，服务约636人次[1]。通过这些高质量的惠民活动，东和社区培养了敢于自信表达的英语志愿宣讲员，同时深耕"左邻右里·守望相助"的邻里文化[1]。
Young volunteers at the Donghe Community Party and Community Service Center in Shatou Street, Yantian District, Shenzhen, have been presenting community services in English during the APEC gathering [1]. Led by Party building initiatives, the center focuses on serving both the elderly and children through a diverse range of programs [1].
