The World Table Tennis (WTT) announced the first batch of participants for the 2026 WTT China Smash on August 25 1. The entry list is headlined by men's singles world number one Wang Chuqin and women's singles world number one Sun Yingsha 1. The tournament is scheduled to take place in Beijing from October 1 to 11 1.
The competition will feature five events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles 1. The champion of each event will receive 2,000 world ranking points 1. At the registration deadline, the top five players in the men's singles were Wang Chuqin, Felix Lebrun of France, Sora Matsushima of Japan, Truls Moregard of Sweden, and Tomokazu Harimoto of Japan 1.
