Alter stated that Freedom is not allowed inside the arena "unless sometime in the future, he’s able to prove to us that he’s able to abide by our rules without being a potential threat" 1.
The arena ban follows an incident during Sunday's game against the Indiana Fever, where Freedom was ejected after being confronted by Sky guard Natasha Cloud late in the third quarter 1. During the game, Freedom was sitting along the baseline wearing a black shirt that read "WOMAN noun. adult human female" 1. Following the incident, Freedom wrote on social media, "I just got kicked out of a @WNBA game for supporting WOMEN! Let that sink in, AMERICA!" 1.
