Wide receiver Stefon Diggs has agreed to sign with the Washington Commanders, according to an AP source.[1] The deal is worth up to $12 million, and Diggs will play for quarterback Jayden Daniels in what marks his 12th NFL season.[1]
The 32-year-old receiver most recently played for the New England Patriots, where he recorded 99 receptions, 1,123 yards, and five touchdowns last season.[1] Diggs has previously played for the Minnesota Vikings, Buffalo Bills, and Houston Texans during his career.[1] In 2020, he earned All-Pro honors while leading the league with 127 receptions and 1,535 receiving yards.[1]
Earlier this year, Diggs was acquitted in May, and the NFL subsequently announced in June that it would not impose any disciplinary action against him.[1]
