定居美国30多年的香港人林先生去年9月出现胸骨、胃部不适症状[1]。在美国医院接受检查时被误诊为心脏问题[1]，经过5个多月才最终确诊为胃食管结合部腺癌III期[1]。美国医院因病情复杂而无法提供成熟的治疗方案[1]。
今年3月，林先生专程来到香港大学深圳医院就诊[1]。医院的深港专家组成的多学科团队（MDT）在3天内完成了全面检查[1]，为患者制定了FLOT联合免疫治疗方案[1]。经过治疗，林先生已完成2周期的FLOT加度伐利尤单抗治疗[1]，肿瘤出现部分缓解[1]，患者因此获得了继续治疗的希望[1]。
A 63-year-old Hong Kong resident who had lived in the United States for over three decades traveled to Shenzhen after receiving a cancer diagnosis that proved difficult to treat in America.[1] Lin first experienced chest and stomach discomfort in September 2025, and was initially misdiagnosed as having a heart condition by American physicians.[1] After more than five months, he was correctly diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the gastroesophageal junction at stage III (cT3N2M0) in February 2026.[1] Faced with the complexity of his condition, the American hospital was unable to provide a mature treatment approach.[1]
In March 2026, Lin came to Hong Kong University Shenzhen Hospital for consultation.[1] A multidisciplinary team comprising specialists from Hong Kong and Shenzhen completed diagnostic evaluations in three days and formulated a treatment plan combining FLOT chemotherapy with immunotherapy using durvalumab.[1] After completing two cycles of this combined regimen, Lin achieved partial remission of his tumor, offering him renewed hope for recovery.[1]
