To support these initiatives, the Ministry of Civil Affairs encourages local regions to explore multiple meal assistance models and implements preferential policies such as tax and fee reductions, alongside applying residential prices for water, electricity, gas, and heating 1. Moving forward, the ministry plans to advance meal assistance services in urban areas by leveraging convenient living circles, while in rural areas, it will rely on village-level mutual assistance points 1. Additionally, the Ministry of Civil Affairs is currently studying and formulating relevant policy measures to optimize the development of elderly meal assistance services 1.
