Forrestania Resources
过去一年间,公司通过一系列并购加强资产组合,包括收购Kula Gold(5,890万美元)、Newcam Minerals(2,400万美元)和Zenith Minerals(9,350万美元)[1]。
Forrestania Resources has announced a substantial upgrade to its mineral resource estimate at the Elingamite gold project in Western Australia, with total indicated and inferred resources climbing to 126,290 ounces of gold, representing a 131% increase [1]. The high-confidence indicated resource category expanded even more dramatically, surging 180% to reach 86,080 ounces across 1.88 million tonnes grading 1.43 grams per tonne [1]. Recent drilling has yielded impressive samples, including 22.98 grams per tonne gold over 1 metre, 7.46 grams per tonne over 4 metres, and 5.69 grams per tonne over 7 metres [1].
The company has commenced haulage of ore from Elingamite to its recently acquired Lake Johnston processing facility, marking the transition from exploration to production operations [1]. Forrestania is building a two-hub processing network designed to consolidate capacity across the Edna May operation, which processes 2.9 million tonnes annually, and the Lake Johnston facility, with combined capacity expected to exceed 6 million tonnes per year by early 2027 [1]. Chairman David Geraghty stated that the company believes "significant opportunities remain to further expand the resource base and enhance project economics" [1].
The resource expansion comes as Forrestania has aggressively expanded through acquisitions totalling over USD 173 million in the past year, including USD 58.9 million for Kula Gold, USD 24 million for Newcam Minerals, and USD 93.5 million for Zenith Minerals [1]. The company controls 623 square kilometres of contiguous mining tenure adjacent to the Bounty gold mine, which has a historical production record of 1 million ounces [1].
