The service enables headless commerce between AI agents and merchants by supporting stablecoin micropayments through the x402 protocol, facilitating transactions for APIs, MCP Tools, and content purchases.[1] Cloudflare has also introduced the cloudflare.pay domain standard, which allows agents to establish identity through readable identifiers such as research.example.cloudflare.pay.[1] This new wallet offering complements Cloudflare's previously released Monetization Gateway, helping Cloudflare customers sell resources directly to AI agents.[1]
