Australian actor Hugo Weaving, 66, has opened up about his long struggle with epilepsy, describing the condition he was diagnosed with at age 13 as "quite traumatic."[1] Weaving underwent three decades of medication treatment following the diagnosis, experiencing severe seizures that left him feeling as though "my brain was blowing apart."[1] He remained seizure-free from his late 30s onward, eventually recovering naturally from the condition without requiring further medical intervention.[1]
