Shenzhen Port's Dasha Bay Terminal, Nantong Tonghai Port, and Pan-Asia Shipping have signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement for a green shipping corridor in Shanghai.[1] The three parties will leverage their respective strengths to deepen collaboration in areas including new energy infrastructure investment, equipment modernization, and information sharing systems, with the goal of jointly establishing a dedicated green shipping channel.[1]
The agreement marks the first green shipping corridor strategic partnership achieved since Shenzhen Port launched its green shipping corridor construction initiative.[1] The cooperation is guided by principles of voluntary participation, mutual benefit, information transparency, open collaboration, and coordinated carbon reduction.[1] Through their partnership, the parties aim to achieve zero-carbon operations, reduce costs while improving efficiency, and foster mutual prosperity, while generating replicable and scalable best practices for advancing high-quality green port and shipping development nationwide.[1]
