Orbit Resources启动钻探扩展新州多金属资源

Orbit Resources has launched a new drilling campaign at its Lewis Ponds project in New South Wales, targeting expansion of the 1.7 million ounce gold equivalent polymetallic resource.1 Recent drilling results have identified significant mineralization zones beyond the existing ore body, particularly in the Quarry Lode area, which could increase the project's overall scale.1

The Quarry Lode discovery includes a 27-meter intersection grading 0.97 grams per tonne gold equivalent, with a higher-grade 10-meter section averaging 1.44 grams per tonne gold equivalent.1 In the Cousin Jack prospect area, two sulfide zones have been intersected: an upper zone spanning 79 meters grading 1.3 percent zinc equivalent and a lower zone of 104 meters also grading 1.3 percent zinc equivalent.1 The current JORC resource estimate stands at 17.52 million tonnes grading 1.12 grams per tonne gold, 53.34 grams per tonne silver, 2.06 percent zinc, 1.1 percent lead, and 0.14 percent copper.1 Managing Director Jeneta Owens stated that the team has "identified meaningful gold and base metal mineralization outside the current mineral resource estimate and proposed open pit."1 Future exploration activities include ground electromagnetic surveying planned for the fourth quarter and drone magnetic surveying to commence next month.1
