Beetaloo's Carpentaria venture has demonstrated production capability through its flagship C-5H well, which achieved an average output of 6.9 terajoules per day during a 30-day production test 1. The initial gas processing facility is designed to operate at 25 terajoules per day, with potential to scale as computing demand grows—a 1-gigawatt data centre facility could require up to 200 terajoules daily 1. AGIG, which operates more than 40,000 kilometres of gas pipeline infrastructure serving over 2.1 million customers, brings substantial operational expertise to the partnership 1.
The memorandum remains non-binding and any project advancement will require further technical studies, commercial agreements, and regulatory approvals 1.
