卡内基梅隆大学教授、Meta公司前研究副总裁、苹果前AI研究总监Russ Salakhutdinov近日透露，月之暗面创始人杨植麟曾有机会留在美国，包括加入苹果公司的机会，但他最终坚定地选择了回国创业。[1]
据介绍，Russ Salakhutdinov曾与苹果高管讨论杨植麟是否考虑加入苹果，苹果高管回复称："我们在北京有办公室，如果他想加入苹果的话"。[1]对此，杨植麟态度明确，认为"如果不至少尝试创办自己的公司，他会后悔一辈子"。[1]
杨植麟最终创办了月之暗面。其发布的Kimi K3模型蝉联前端开发榜全球第一。[1]
Yang Zhilin, founder of Moonshot AI and creator of the Kimi chatbot, had multiple opportunities to remain in the United States and join major technology companies, but deliberately chose to return to China and launch his own venture instead.[1] Russ Salakhutdinov, Yang's doctoral advisor at Carnegie Mellon University and former Vice President of Research at Meta and former AI Research Director at Apple, revealed that discussions had taken place with Apple executives about whether Yang might be interested in joining the company.[1] When approached on the matter, Yang responded that he would regret it for the rest of his life if he did not at least attempt to launch his own company.[1]
After its release, Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 model consecutively topped the global rankings for front-end development.[1]
