King River Resources is undertaking a multi-phase exploration initiative at its Mindoolah high-grade gold project located in Western Australia's Murchison goldfield province, approximately 70 kilometers north-northwest of Cue.1 The company will conduct high-resolution aeromagnetic surveys and soil geochemical sampling across a 260-square-kilometer area, with the objective of identifying new drilling targets beyond the footprint of historical mining operations.1
The aeromagnetic survey will cover 5,939 kilometers of lines spaced 50 meters apart, while soil sampling will generate 418 samples at 50-meter intervals.1 The Mindoolah project has a recorded history of producing 5,700 ounces of gold at an average grade of 19 grams per tonne from an estimated 1.08 million tonnes of material extracted historically.1 King River has contracted Jarahfire Drilling as its drilling partner and plans to commence the second phase of reverse circulation drilling in October.1
According to Graham Gadsby, Chairman of King River Resources, "These programs will substantially expand our geochemical and geophysical coverage of the project, enabling us to map prospective shear corridors and potential alteration zones outside the historical mining footprint."1
