Despite a significant pit crew error in which a lug nut on the left front wheel of his No. 12 Ford came loose on lap 111, Blaney mounted an impressive charge from 17th position to capture the checkered flag, leading the final 74 laps of the race 1. This victory marked Blaney's third win of the season and 20th of his professional career 1.
