该校AI自主学习空间的使用效果显著，月均有不少学生学习超过25小时，即平均每天保持1个多小时的自主学习[1]。学校数理混龄社团由全校招募的30名不同年级同学组成[1]，而智能智造社团面向4-8年级招募成员，目前已有150名同学参与[1]。石厦学校党委书记井光明表示，"人工智能时代知识平权，知识随手可得，学习随时可行"[1]。
根据福田区教育局推进的"五个一"校园工程，这类特色AI空间正在该区各校逐步铺开[1]。

The school's AI self-directed learning space has demonstrated significant engagement, with students averaging over 25 hours of monthly study time, translating to more than one hour of daily independent learning.[1] The mathematics and science mixed-age club brings together 30 students from different grades across the school, while the intelligent manufacturing club recruits members from grades 4 through 8, currently involving 150 participants.[1] These initiatives align with broader district efforts, as Futian District's education bureau is advancing a "Five-in-One" campus development program designed to establish distinctive AI spaces in every school.[1]
School Party Committee Secretary Jing Guangming articulated the educational philosophy underlying these efforts, stating that "in the artificial intelligence era, knowledge equity means that knowledge is readily accessible and learning can happen anytime."[1] This approach reflects contemporary thinking on education, exemplified by Education Minister Huai Jingpeng's proposal at the 2026 World Digital Education Conference to center student development around the concept of "enlightening wisdom and enhancing intelligence."[1]
